Conductor
Diana Charos Reilly is the Music Director of the New Jersey Youth Symphony Flute Choir and Advanced Flute Forum. A proud Alumna of the Youth Symphony, Ms. Reilly joined the teaching staff in 1993 as ensemble director for the Orchestral Winds Training Program and founded both the Flute Choir and Flute Forum in 1998. Diana’s conducting debut was held in 2004 at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) and most recently performed in Carnegie Hall under Maestro Paul Hostetter in 2005. In September 2005 Ms. Reilly joined the music faculty at Rutgers Preparatory School in New Jersey.

Ms. Charos Reilly was the private flute instructor and masterclass coach at the Kent Place School in Summit for almost a decade, and was the director of summer programs at Kent Place as well. In 1994 she was appointed flute instructor at the Skidmore Summer Flute Institute at Skidmore College in New York. Diana is a graduate of the Julliard pre-college division and was a student of Brad Garner. She holds a Bachelor of Music degree from the Hartt School of Music where she studied under John Wion from the New York City Opera. She continued her graduate studies at Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University. Additionally, Diana furthered her training at Ithaca College and Oberlin. Ms. Reilly has recorded numerous CDs including “Jack the Ripper”, “Sleeping Beauty” and “Rapunzel”, which premiered in 1999 at the Papermill Playhouse with the musical theater company “The Enchanted Players”.
